Tikka Dinner Rolls

Ingredients For Dough:

  • Flour 2 cups
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Yeast 1 tbsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Lukewarm water to knead
  • Oil 2 tbsp

Ingredients For Spicy Mayo:

  • Mayonnaise ½ cup
  • Chili sauce 4 tbsp
  • Green chili sauce 4 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Black pepper ¼ tsp
  • Onion finely chopped 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 1 tbsp,
  • Mozzarella cheese 1 ½ cup
  • Beaten egg 1 – 2

Ingredients For Garlic Butter:

  • Melted butter ½ cup
  • Oil ¼ cup
  • Crushed garlic 2tbsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • mixed herbs ½ tsp
  • chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  • salt pinch

Ingredients For Fillet:

  • Boneless chicken 400 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Tikka masala 2 tbsp
  • Salt ¼ tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

Method For Dough:

Put all the ingredients in a bowl, mix and knead with lukewarm water to a soft dough, apply some oil on top, cover and leave it to rise for 1 hour.

Method For Fillet:

Marinate chicken with all the given ingredients, grill with 1 tbsp oil until done, give dum of coal and keep aside.

Method For Garlic Butter:

In a bowl mix together ½ cup melted butter, ¼ cup oil, 2tbsp crushed garlic, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp crushed red pepper, mixed herbs ½ tsp, chopped coriander 1 tbsp, pinch of salt.

Method:

Mix all together for garlic butter in a bowl and keep aside.

To assemble Roll a ball of dough in oblong shape, put a dollop of spicy mayo followed by chicken tikka pieces, then some mozzarella cheese, fold slightly from both sides and roll to wrap it well, brush with beaten egg, bake in a pre-heated oven 200 d for 15 mins, once you remove from oven, brush generously with garlic butter, let it rest for 5 mins, the rolls will absorb the butter, serve it hot.
